Nicci's Wedding

Congratulations to Nicci (my cousin) and Dan on their wedding last Thursday! Tim and I were able to go up to the ceremony in the Bountiful Temple and the dinner, which was put on by Dan's restaurant called Michaelangelo's, and was delicious. We had a good time seeing family, and we're excited to see everyone again on the 4th of July!

My New Things...

Well, I kept doing things this week that I thought I should take pictures of, but, for my birthday, I got this new purse (thanks mom and dad) that I keep forgetting to put my camera in. So for your entertainment, I just took a picture of the purse instead of our adventures. I also got these new flip flops because Tim told me it was time to graduate my several pairs of cheap old navy ones. I got these at Target and splurged a few extra bucks for the added comfort. I still love my old navy flip flops, but at least Tim doesn't have to be embarrassed when I should be looking "nice."

Moab, Utah

This past weekend, Tim and I went with our friends, Meredith and James Hendricks to Moab. We camped by the river (but forgot to take pictures of us actually camping), and did a lot of hiking at Arches Ntl. Park. I enjoyed camping, but I am also glad it was only for one night. The bugs swarmed our heads, and we all got sunburned on the back of our legs and other various places. It's kind of crazy that I have never been there even though I've lived here my whole life. Utah sure is a pretty place!

Tag: 6 Facts About Me

Jessica Schoenfeld tagged me. The rules are to list 6 facts about me, and tag three people who must do the same, so here are my facts:

1.I have too many plain colored T-shirts. I’m very picky about how things look on me and prices when shopping for clothes, so even when I go looking for specific items, I end up buying more and more plain T-shirts.
2.I love learning. I would love to go back to school, but there are so many things I want to learn that I can’t decide on one. If I could have another career to plan for, I would choose one (or several of the following): college advisor, dietitian, event planner, baker, teacher, or something in the health field that doesn’t involve blood.
3.I’m very cheap. I hate spending money (except on certain things) and get stressed if we go over our budget. This has lead to more stress in my life than it should.

4.I’ve been to 30 states. Tim and I enjoy traveling and seeing new places, but even though I’ve been lots of places, I never get tired of going back to St. George.

5.Things I hate: impractical junk, blood/gore/dead animals, touching the shower curtain, cold temperatures, and not getting exercise if I was planning on it.
6. I only wear one contact lens. I used to only have one bad eye, so I was only prescribed one contact, but I stopped wearing it because my left eye is very sensitive and I figured I could see just fine out of my other eye. When my right eye also started going bad, I got two prescriptions, but I still only wear the contact in my “better” eye. Like I said, my left eye is sensitive.
I tag Mindy, Aubrey (if you have time-I just cut and copied this), and Sarah.

Tanaya's Job

I work at a fitness center in a Discover Financial Service building. Currently, our building is merging with another in the area, so our building is slowly getting smaller and smaller. To help pass the time, my co-workers and I have to get "creative" in our jobs. Here are some pictures of us at "work..."

Us "fighting cancer" for our bulletin board and participating in "team building."

More Gellystone!

I had more pictures of Yellowstone, so I thought I'd put them up as well...

Home on the Range

Well, as promised, here are some pictures from our "graduation" trip to Yellowstone. There really was some pretty scenery, but a lot of snow. See for yourself!
The hot springs and, of course, Old Faithful. The waterfalls and Yellowstone Canyon (where the park got its name from) plus some other pretty pictures.
Because of a lot of snow in areas, the animals stayed close to the roads and water, which is why we were able to see so many!

Here is Tim on one of the trails we went on.
Ha! Ha! It actually wasn't all this bad, but it makes for quite the picture! Burr!
