Friday Night: Exploring the City

Chicago is well known for it's architecture, so here are a few of my pictures of this beautiful city. We stayed at the Congress hotel (below). It seems like it used to be a glamorous hotel, but now its starting to get a little run down. It was still right on the main street, and across from the famous fountain (picture on bottom right) that wasn't on yet. ...I'll have to come back to Chicago in the spring/summer time. You'll see that I missed a few things because of the season.
This is the new Millennial park. It has a lot of art and the "Chicago Bean." We wanted to go ice skating there, but never had time. It was a pretty area.

The Buckingham Fountain really is very pretty when it's running (when Chicago isn't freezing cold) -- one of my favorite fountains -- the architecture in Chicago is great, too -- glad you got to enjoy a little of it.
